Car crash leaves woman in hospital

A woman was taken to hospital after her minivan flipped on Main Street in Hamilton Sunday afternoon.

The van was heading eastbound near Sherman Avenue South when it collided with a Jetta, and rolled over.

Two women were in the van, and one had to be removed through the back window.

The man driving the Jetta was not hurt.

The intersection was closed for a few hours but later reopened.

Witnesses say the Jetta was speeding, but so far no charges have been laid.
