Capsized canoe leaves teen dead, man missing

A 13-year-old boy has died in hospital, and police are still searching for a 23-year-old man after a canoe capsized near Orillia.

Provincial police were called around 10 a.m. Tuesday to Lunge Point in the Cumberland Beach area of Lake Couchiching.

The teen was was rescued from the water and taken to hospital, but has since died.

Underwater search and recovery officers are still searching for the missing man.
