Capitals victorious over Sabres, 4-1

The Washington Capitals followed Monday nights tight 3-2 win over the Sabres in DC with a 4-1 victory over Buffalo Sabres at the KeyBank Center.

T.J. Oshie and rookie Jakub Vrana set the tone with a pair in the opening period.

Philipp Grubauer managed 27 saves as the Capitals beat the Sabres Friday night.

After Kyle Okposo made it a one goal game on the power-play in the 3rd, John Carlson notched his first goal of the season with the man-advantage and Marcus Johansson hit the empty net to silence the Sabres for good.
