Canadians honour Humboldt Broncos with “Jersey Day”

Thousands of Canadians are showing their support for the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
Thursday is being marked as “Jersey Day.”
People are being urged to wear any sports jersey — or green and yellow, which are the team colours of the Broncos.
The campaign was started by a group of hockey moms in British Columbia as a way to support the Saskatchewan community at the centre of the tragedy.
They say the message behind it is simple — we are all one team.
Many people in Hamilton and the Niagara region are taking part.
