As the trade dispute between Canada and the US continues, some Canadians are fighting back with their wallets, avoiding American products and buying Canadian. But will it work?

Canadians are the biggest buyers of US goods in the world, so it may be difficult to find made at home products and can mean paying a higher price.
This comes after US president Donald Trump slapped tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum, causing Canada to retaliate with its own levies on certain US products.
Saying keeping spending within Canada to show solidarity would only have a minor impact.
A bigger impact would be to stay at home this summer instead of vacationing south of the border.
