Thanksgiving weekend has arrived in the Great White North, as families prepare to gather together to celebrate the annual harvest holiday.

Canadian Thanksgiving blends the traditions of European harvest festivals in Britain and the U.K., with some of the customs and practices of American Thanksgiving – like a big turkey dinner!

But with food inflation pushing prices up, many families celebrating with that traditional meal will be feeling the pinch.
