By the end of the month, vaccinated Canadians will no longer need a costly COVID-19 test to return home from short trips to the U-S. But travellers who are out of the country for more than 72 hours will still have to present a negative test at the border on their way home. A New York congressman wants the test scrapped entirely for all vaccinated travellers including Americans, but Canadian officials say they are taking a more gradual approach to easing restrictions.
