Canada’s Wonderland plans to reopen in May, if the province allows

Canada’s Wonderland says it’s planning to reopen for the 2021 season in May.

“Save the date! We’re excited to announce Canada’s Wonderland’s 2021 Opening Day – May 14,” said an email sent  to previous season ticket holders.

The amusement park, which was closed for its 2020 season because of COVID-19, says visitors will have to follow public health protocols such as mask-wearing and distancing.

As it stands, non-essential businesses across Ontario are closed by emergency order.

It’s not clear when amusement parks will be allowed to reopen.
