Canada joins alliance against child sex abuse

Canada is joining The Global Alliance Against Child Sexual Abuse Online.

The alliance, which includes the United States and the European Union, was started last December to help better identify and help victims of abuse as well as prosecute suspects.

Justice Minister Rob Nicholson says the goal is to strengthen the fight against internet predators and child abuse images online.
