Cambridge nurse comes to rescue

A Cambridge nurse used her life-saving skills to rescue a 22-year old Mississauga man and his sister from drowning in Hunstville.

They went for a swim in Peninsula Lake at Deerhurst Resort yesterday, but were unfamiliar with the water and became overwhelmed. The nurse saw them and swam out to help, bringing with her a life jacket.

The man was taken to hospital for observation, while his sister was able to swim to safety.
