Caledonia businesses ransacked after series of break-ins

The Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a recent string of break and enters into businesses in Caledonia.

Police were called to The Clark Company on Greens Rd. around 6:20 a.m. Saturday.

An employee noticed the building had been entered and a company tractor was up and running on the property.

Multiple offices were ransacked and damaged and several items were stolen including a computer, server, power tools, vehicle keys and cash.

OPP say the break in happened sometime between 9 p.m. on Friday and 6:16 a.m. on Saturday.

Officers responded to another call Saturday morning at Morton’s Furniture on Greens Rd.

The owner noticed the entry doors and vehicles were damaged in another attempted break and enter.

OPP are investigating both incidences and ask anyone with information or who may have noticed something suspicious to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
