CAA kicks off its Worst Roads campaign in Ontario

Citizens of Ontario can now nominate roads for the annual CAA Worst Roads campaign.
The campaign gives people around Ontario a chance to vote on roads they think need the most work and are causing their communities the most issues.
Over the past four years, this effort has brought poor-quality roads to the attention of government officials, leading to the quick repair of the damaged roads.

In a survey conducted by CAA South Central Ontario, nearly half of respondents said they have experienced vehicle damage due to poor road conditions.
The survey also found that cracked pavement is the most dominant road-related issue, closely followed by potholes and congestion.
CAA reports that many people pay out of pocket to repair pothole damage on their personal vehicles. These costs can range from $500 to $2,000.
Nominations for the Worst Roads campaign can be submitted online at www.caaworstroads.com from March 25 to April 18.
