Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, all that is left is for your orders to arrive if they haven’t already.

FedEx says their company expects to ship 317,000,000 packages around the world this holiday season: a 12 per cent increase over last year. The company’s major Canadian hub at Pearson Airport is able to process up to 20,000 packages an hour.

The company’s Brett Toner told CHCH News, “we’re expecting about 55 per cent of shoppers this year to shop online, which is up 10 per cent from last year. We’re ready. We’ve added a sixth Boeing 757 to handle that spike in volume of online shopping.”

To ensure your packages are delivered in time for Christmas you can ship up until December 23rd, but FedEx recommends placing your orders as soon as possible.
