A sudsy surprise at Burlington’s Spencer Smith Park Wednesday morning.
Area residents woke up to find the Lady of the Lake fountain had been soap bombed.
City crews used a leaf blower to get the bubbles out of the fountain.
Officials say it was drained and rinsed and is back in operation.
The Lady of the Lake was created in 1973 as part of the Burlington Centennial Fountain.
It was a gift to the city from the Burlington Lions Club.
