Burlington trail attack leaves one in hospital

An 18 year old is in hospital after being attacked on a trail in Burlington.

He was with two teenage girls on a park path near Cavendish and Upper Middle Road in Burlington around 3am when they were approached by an unknown man. They told police he pulled a gun on them and demanded their valuables. During a fight, the 18 year old was hit several times in the head and upper body. The two girls weren’t hurt. The suspect ran off, and no shots were fired. Police are looking for a white man who’s about 5′ 5″, with an average build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black balaclava.
