Burlington’s Lowville Park reopens next week, but things will look a little different.

The city says it’s putting various measures in place to keep visitors safe.

Parking capacity has been cut in half to allow for physical distance spacing and prevent overcrowding.

The city says the entrance will be monitored and vehicles could be turned away.

Street parking is not permitted and parking enforcement will be out.

Washroom facilities will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The playground remains closed and permits for designated picnic areas are not being issued.

The park re-opens on Monday June 29.

Visitors are being reminded to keep mindful about public health practices to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

That includes maintaining physical distancing, staying home if you feel sick and washing and sanitizing hands.
