Burlington to begin setting up sidewalk patios

Burlington will begin setting up sidewalk patios this week.

The move is in anticipation of step 1 of the province’s reopening plan, which would see patios able to operate as of June 14. There are reports the province may allow patios to open as early as this week.

Burlington approved its temporary patio program earlier this year.

It allows local businesses to expand their patio to accommodate more customers.
