Burlington ticket blitz

Halton police are cracking down on distracted drivers as part of “Project Disconnect”.

In Burlington, they handed out nearly 300 tickets during a blitz this month.

The province wide distracted driving law has been in place for more than two years, but police say many people are still using cell phones and other mobile devices while they drive.
