Burlington teen stabbed

A teenage girl is in hospital and a woman in custody after a stabbing in Burlington.

It happened around 8:30 last night in an apartment building at 5220 lakeshore road. The victim is in stable condition after overnight surgery.

Halton police say the teen and the accused know each other, but they haven’t released any other details.

The 32 year old woman is charged with attempted murder.
