Burlington student hit by taxi

A grade nine student was taken to hospital, after he was hit by a taxi cab in Burlington.

Just after 11 Friday morning, the boy was walking with a small group of friends across Guelph Line at Upper Middle Road, when he was hit by the cab.

He was taken to Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

The taxi driver was not injured.

There’s no word if any charges will be laid.
