Burlington Skyway re-opened

The Burlington Skyway bridge has reopened following a police investigation involving a distressed person.

The situation started around 4 pm as the man drove his car on the westbound lanes, stopped it and stepped out. Both Fort Erie bound and Toronto bound lanes were closed off and cars lined the highway for kilometres in either direction.

Just after 6:30 pm the man was apprehended by police and traffic was allowed to flow once the lanes were clear.
