Commuters travelling on the Burlington Skyway bridge this weekend will be able to travel westbound as Niagara-bound lanes are expected to remain open.

The City of Burlington previously said Niagara-bound lanes were expected to close every Friday in July, which began last week.

Construction workers start to close Niagara-bound lanes at 6:30 p.m. and fully shut them down by 8 p.m. every Friday throughout the month.

All lanes are scheduled to re-open by 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
