Burlington residents on ‘culvert watch’ as freezing rain looms

Residents in a Burlington neighbourhood are on what they call “culvert watch”  with freezing rain expected this weekend. One particular culvert in the Headon Forest area has a grate which has been plugged with debris in the past, causing significant flooding. The last big one was back in July.  The city announced Friday afternoon that a new grate is on the way.
