Burlington residents continue clean-up after intense storm

Two days after Saturday’s intense storm, Burlington residents continue to clean up.

The storm downed trees and hydro lines leaving some still without power today.

Martin and Theresa Lydon are two of a few hundred still without power in Burlington.

“We’ve been without power for a few days now,” Martin said. “It went out Saturday around lunchtime.”

Burlington Hydro tells CHCH News that additional crews from Niagara and North Bay assisted with the clean-up.

“We are hoping that the vast majority if not everyone has their power restored today,” Burlington Hydro said.
