Halton regional police have arrested two superintendents at a townhouse complex in Burlington after confiscating 65 marijuana plants in the basement of one of the units.

Police could be seen walking the plants out of the house on Meadowbrook Road shortly after 5:30pm. Two young kids were at home at the time, and the Children’s Aid Society has been notified. Police say they were made aware of the grow-op, worth more than $18,000, thanks to a Crimestoppers tip.
