Burlington police chase ends with injuries

Three people are in hospital after a high speed chase in Burlington Monday night.

The series of events started downtown where police were going after a driver travelling at high speeds. That driver ended up crashing into two other cars at Brant Street and Plains Road. The driver tried to run from the scene but was arrested shortly thereafter. Two adults and one child were taken to Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. The Special Investigations Unit has been called in to investigate the crash. The area will be blocked in all directions around Brant Street and Plains Road for several hours.
