Burlington neighbourhood on edge after girl followed home

A Burlington neighbourhood was on edge over the weekend after a man followed a 17-year-old girl home from school earlier in the week right to her front door.

CHCH News has learned this isn’t the first sighting of the man that Halton police are investigating.

The incident happened last Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. in a neighbourhood off Brant St.

The teenager noticed the man near Locust St. and Birch Ave., he then followed her home.

The man was spotted again the next day in the backyard of another family’s home across the street.

Halton police are looking to speak to the man.

He‘s described as white, between 35 and 40-years-old, about 6‘2“ and around 185 lbs. He has dirty blonde curly hair and was unshaven. He wore a dark touque, red plaid shirt and dark winter jacket.
