Burlington man found safe

Missing man with Alzheimer’s found following car crash, injured but okay.
82-year-old Gerard Hoolboom was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

He went missing after failing to show up for a dentist appointment.

Hoolboom was located just before 11pm on Milborough Townline north of Campbellville Sideroad in the rural area of Milton where his car struck a tree.

Police say Hoolboom was conscious, near the vehicle and suffered minor injuries.

He was checked at hospital as a precaution.
