Burlington man dead after motorcycle collision

A man involved in a motorcycle collision in Burlington has died.

The crash happened just after 6 p.m. on Monday on Plains Rd. near King Rd.

Police say an SUV driven by a 46-year-old woman attempted to make a left turn in the path of the motorcycle.

Emergency services responded after the two vehicles collided.

They arrived to find the 60-year-old motorcyclist unconscious.

The man was rushed to Hamilton General Trauma Centre and has been pronounced dead.

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
