Burlington man arrested in steroid trafficking investigation

Halton police have arrested a Burlington man in connection with a steroid trafficking investigation.

Police began looking into the illegal sale of steroids in Burlington back in March.

On Tuesday, officers arrested 35-year-old Shane Jooris.

Police executed a search warrant at a home in Burlington and seized 31 various steroids and medications for bodybuilding worth roughly $20,230.

Jooris is facing two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance.

He was released from custody on an undertaking.
