Burlington Lift Bridge starts nightly closures Monday

The Burlington Lift Bridge will be closed nightly from June 20 to 25, between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Rush hour and marine traffic will not be affected.

The closures are required as part of a project that will replace the bridge’s controls, drives and cables.

The schedule may be subject to change due to weather conditions or logistical requirements.

Short-term closures of the bridge or individual lanes will occur periodically during the project.
