Burlington home invasion

A Burlington man is recovering after a home invasion Sunday night.

It happened at an east end home around 9:30 pm.

A woman answered a knock at her door, and was pushed aside by two men looking for cash and jewelery.

They hit the man who lives there as well.

He was treated in hospital for minor injuries.

The suspects are described as white, about 30 years old, and slim.

They were wearing dark sweatshirts, with the hoods covering their heads.
