Burlington collision sends two to hospital in serious condition

A single-vehicle collision in Burlington early Tuesday morning sends two to hospital in serious condition.
Members of Halton Regional Police responded at approximately 3:30 a.m. to a collision on Cedar Spring Rd. just north of Colling Road.
Reports say a northbound Mazda hatchback with three occupants lost control, went off the road, and struck a tree on the west side.
Road Closure – Cedar Springs Rd closed between Britannia & Colling Rd for serious single vehicle collision. Police/Fire/EMS on scene. Expect closure to last well into the day. Pls avoid area. ^jwf

Two male passengers were ejected from the vehicle and transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The female driver also sustained injuries and was taken to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.
Police say the 23-year-old driver was arrested and subsequently charged with impaired driving and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
The portion of Cedar Spring Rd. has been reopened at this time.
