Burlington armed robbery

Update: 20 year old Yonis Abdullah Osman of Toronto has arrested and charged with robbery, and wearing a disguise with intent.  He is being held in custody until a bail hearing.

A man with a machete-like knife robbed a gas station in Burlington over the weekend.

Police have released photos saying the man confronted an attendant. The employee wasn’t hurt, but the man left with cash and cigarettes.

It happened Saturday morning just after six o’clock at the Petro Canada station on Upper Middle Road near Walkers Line.
