Bullet casings confirm shooting occurred on Hamilton Mountain

The discovery of spent bullet casings has confirmed that a shooting took place on Hamilton Mountain late Tuesday, police say.

Shortly after 8 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call near Rymal Road East and Upper Sherman Avenue.

When they arrived, there were no signs that anyone had been injured but they did find spent shell casings in the area.

It remains unclear whether this incident was targeted or not.
