Broken Social Scene to play Supercrawl
A Canadian favourite will be playing at this year’s Supercrawl in Hamilton.
Broken Social Scene will take the stage at the Supercrawl which takes over James Street North from York Boulevard to Wilson Street on Saturday, September 10.
The free event will also include performances by Reid Paley and Pixies frontman Black Francis.
Last year’s Supercrawl brought in an estimated 20,000 people, and this year thousands more are expected.
In addition to the music there will be live art, street vendors, dancers and theatre acts.
The event was started by a team of artists and others who wanted to expand the monthly James Street North art crawl to a day.
By the way the art crawl takes place the second Friday of every month, which means one will be happening this Friday.
