79 year old Helen Robertson simply ‘slipped out the side door’ of her Burlington home along Millcroft Park Drive near Walker’s line after having lunch with her husband of nearly sixty years. That was last Tuesday, she hasn’t been seen since. Robertson suffers from Alzheimers, since being diagnosed three years ago she has wondered off five times in the past two years and she likes to walk. Last February, Helen disappeared for eight hours before being found at an industrial parking lot near Winston Churchill and Lakeshore Road, 25kms away from her home.

Robertson has always kept fit, she’s been a member of Curves gym for about six years and her disappearance has members and staff very concerned. Fliers posted around the neighbourhood and #BringHelenHome on social media keep Burlington residents talking and on the look out.

Helen’s daughter told us that initial reports that her mother was wearing two different colour shoes was inaccurate and that they’re confident that she’s actually wearing black shoes. She also said her mom will be carrying a brown purse that should have her identification in it. Police have received many leads and are asking the public to call them if Helen Robertson is spotted.
