Bridge over QEW damaged

A truck collision caused major traffic problems on the Fort Erie bound QEW, over the Garden City Skyway on Monday.

A truck hit the overhead sign at Glendale Avenue damaging the catwalk beneath.

The catwalk was left dangling in the wind and the OPP had to closed one lane.

The closure caused a backup.

No word on when repairs will be completed.
