On the third and final day of the BRICS Summit in South Africa, the bloc of nations has announced the addition of six new countries.

The BRICS alliance is seen by some as an emerging counterweight to western dominance on our planet. And perhaps for that reason, it shouldn’t be a surprise that China was pushing hardest for the expansion of BRICS.
