Brazeau spokesman denies arrest

A spokesperson for senator Patrick Brazeau denies reports he was arrested early yesterday at his home in Gatineau.
Police will only say they intervened in an incident at a home. The address they gave is listed in court records as belonging to Brazeau.
Paramedics and police went to the home after a 9-1-1 call indicated a man was feeling ill, but the patient refused treatment. A couple of hours later, they were back at the same house for a call about a depressed man.
One person was taken to hospital, but released a short while later.
Police emphasize there are no charges in connection with this action.
Brazeau was dropped from the Conservative caucus earlier this year, after an arrest for an alleged domestic violence incident.
