Brawl at the ballgame

[projekktor id=’24116′]
The Jays were finishing up their series with Texas and ever since the bat flip heard around the world during game 5 of the ALDS vs the Rangers, we knew that Texas would want to get some revenge against Jose Bautista. In the 8th inning with Jose Bautista at the dish, his last at bat against Texas this season, he got hit by a ball pitched by Texas rookie Matt Bush .
Then after a groundout by Justin Smoak, Bautista had a hard slide into second base that Rougned Odor didn’t like, so he gave Joey Bats a shot to the chin that caused the benches to clear and tempers flare.
The brawl ultimately triggered six of the eight ejections in the Blue Jays’ 7-6 loss yesterday. Bautista, who was kept out of most of the melee by a bear hug from Texas veteran Adrian Beltre, was ejected, as was Odor, who shoved Bautista before punching him.
