Brantford’s first murder

Police have identified the body of a Brantford man found murdered in a vehicle over the weekend.

67 year old Douglas Howard Hendsbee was found dead in a parking lot on Fifth Avenue Saturday evening.

Police say an autopsy revealed he was stabbed.

They say they don’t know if this murder is connected to the death of 35 year old Gary Arruda, whose body was found behind an empty school last week.
