Brantford police still investigating abduction

Brantford police are continuing their investigation for a man who abducted a 15-year old girl from her backyard last week and sexually assaulted her.

The girl went into the backyard early last Thursday morning to investigate a noise that she thought was her cat. She was grabbed and forced to walk about a kilometre to a public area near North Park Collegiate School where she was sexually assaulted.

The man is described as white, six feet tall, with a medium build and a beard. He was wearing a black hoodie, and black Adidas pants with three white stripes down the legs.

Police have been asking store owners in the area to check their surveillance footage to see if they may have captured images of the abduction.
