Brantford police seize loaded guns, over $10K worth of drugs from Diana Avenue home

Brantford police seized two loaded guns and over $10,000 worth of drugs from a home on Diana Avenue.

Police were called to a residential disturbance involving several people in the area of Diana Ave. and Blackburn Dr. around 11 p.m. on Friday.

One man was seen pointing a firearm at another person, before walking into a nearby home.

Officers arrived at the home a short time later and a man and woman were taken into custody.

A search warrant was executed at the home.

Police say officers found two loaded handguns and over $10,000 worth of illicit drugs, including mushrooms, cocaine and hydrocodone.

Shyhein Slowly-Bailey, 26, from Toronto, faces several weapons charges, including unauthorized possession of a firearm, uttering threats to cause death and tampering with the serial number of a firearm.

Jade Zecca-Martins, 26, from Brantford faces a several drug trafficking charges.
