Brantford police seize drugs, money and weapon after traffic stop

Brantford Police Service Street Crime Unit seized drugs, a weapon and cash from a North York man during a traffic stop.

Police say officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Memorial Dr. on Wednesday.

Investigation revealed the driver was in possession of drugs and a weapon.

Police seized approximately 50 grams of cocaine, approximately one gram of fentanyl, cash and brass knuckles.

Police charged 28-year-old Kerick Hasani Wilson with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failure to comply with recognizance.
