Brantford police seek ‘suspicious’ man approaching youth in parking lot

Brantford police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a “suspicious” man who allegedly approached three youths in a parking lot Monday night.

Officers say they received three separate calls to 300 King George Rd. between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. involving the same man and vehicle.

In all three incidents, it was reported that the man approached youth in the parking lot.

Police say no one was injured.

The man is described as between the ages of 40 to 50 and has a large muscular build with long brown and grey hair in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and shorts.

Investigators say the man drove out of the parking lot in a dark blue pickup truck that may be a Dodge Ram.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area at the time of the incidents is asked to contact police at 519-756-7050.
