Brantford police search for missing 83-year-old man

Brantford police are looking for a missing man.

Police say 83-year-old Noriyuki Kikuji was last seen on April 16 around 12:30 p.m., leaving his home on Brock St. and heading southbound on foot towards Dalhousie St.

Kikuji is described as a small statured man of Japanese descent and is known to frequent the downtown and east ward areas on foot.

 

At the time Kikuji was last seen, he was wearing dark pants, dark shoes and a blue hooded jacket with a dark-coloured hood.

Police and family say they are concerned for his well-being.

Update: 

Police say they have received new information from the public.
Investigators now believe Kikuji may be travelling east from the Brantwood Park and Lynden Hills area, towards Lynden Rd. and Garden Ave. into Brant County.

Police are asking residents to search their backyards and outbuildings.
