Brantford police make arrest in violent home invasion

Police have arrested a 29-year-old Norwich man after a violent home invasion in Brantford.

A 21-year-old man and his 20-year old girlfriend were attacked when two men followed the couple inside their home just before 10 p.m. on Thursday.

The male victim was pushed into his television and thrown to the ground by one of the men.

They began fighting and the accused pulled out a knife and threatened the male victim.

The accused has been charged with assault, break and enter, utter threats to cause death, breach of probation, and possession of drugs.
