Brantford police looking for knife wielding suspect

Brantford police are asking for the public’s help after a taxi driver was threatened with a knife.

Police say an intoxicated man got in the taxi in the Colborne Street area. After refusing to pay for his fare, the man allegedly pulled a knife on the driver. The victim was not physically hurt, and the man fled on foot. The suspect is described as a white, in his early twenties, 5′ 8″ with a stocky build. He also had a short mohawk-style hair cut, and was wearing a blue and white long sleeved plaid shirt, with black track pants and winter boots.
