Brantford Police investigate weekend shooting, look at possible link to Toronto

Brantford Police are investigating possible links between a weekend shooting at a local hotel and a shooting in Toronto.
Officers were called to the Comfort Inn on King George Rd. around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. for reports of shots fired.
Police say four men arrived at the hotel in a vehicle and fired multiple shots into a ground-level room before driving off.
They were in a silver, four-door vehicle and took off northbound on King George Rd.
Police say no one was injured and they believe this was a targeted incident.
Brantford Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
Later that same day, Toronto Police responded to a shooting in the Jane and Finch area.
Police say four people, including a 12-year-old boy, were shot when two men got out of a vehicle and began shooting at another vehicle.
Toronto Police made two arrests in that case and three firearms were recovered.
The boy was in life-threatening condition, but has since died.
